I'm Slava — a Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience building scalable backend and distributed systems with Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
I've worked on payment platforms, real-time analytics, traffic management systems, and event-driven architectures using PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, Docker, and Kubernetes. My experience also includes system architecture, code reviews, CI/CD, release workflows, and backend team leadership.
Beyond implementation, I care about engineering practices — clear architecture, maintainable code, useful documentation, and predictable delivery processes.
I'm currently based in the Netherlands and pursuing an MSc in ICT: Software Engineering at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, with a particular interest in distributed systems, reliability, and software architecture.
